Yael stone, a New York City Australian resident, was the character Lorna the character of Morello Orange Is the New Black in 2013. Yael has received her NIDA degree. Yael was fortunate enough at a young age to work with Australia's premier storytellers and performers and creative directors working in the television, film and theatre industries. Yael's work is well-known throughout Australia. A continuing collaboration with Australia's much-lauded director Neil Armfield culminated in the internationally-renowned production Diary of a Madman, in which she starred opposite Academy- Emmy- and Tony Award-winning actor Geoffrey Rush. Yael was pleased to have found her new home when Brooklyn Academy of Music, which was the venue where the production premiered to great acclaim, moved to her new home in New York City. Yael has co-founded The Cannery. From an Bushwick, Brooklyn studio, The Cannery is a place to promote new writing, innovative creative projects and assists in the development of young writers.
