Katja Herbers is a professional musician since she was a young girl. She is the daughter Vera Beths (violinist) and Werner Herbers (oboist). As a child she visited America along with her mother as the L'Archibudelli chamber group performed. Her father and mother both remarried, her mother to the cellist Anner bylsma.
